Our Approach
We partner with community and community partners to bring a tailored curriculum including critical resources for the families and the children we serve. Our goal is to ensure children are ready for school, and for parents to be the best caregivers. We offer curriculum for parents and caregivers who are interested in taking the lessons we teach, to explore opportunities that may bring disposable income. Once a parent or caregiver completes out caregiver curriculum, we connect them with opportunities to be hired for their services at La Piñata del Aprendizaje, or externally with partners looking for childcare services.
Caregiver Education and Childcare Services
An ECE Classroom
An Early Childhood Education cohort of 20+ families, with children ages 0-5. 40 weeks, 2-hour weekly sessions. Pricing depends on the size of the cohort and resources provided to families.

Caregiver Trainings
Caregiver Education and Development for members of our community. This gives community members an opportunity to develop trusted caregiving skills, as well as earn a living.

Caregiving Services
As our caregivers develop in their training, we offer paid opportunities as trained and proven caregivers to care for children and get paid. Hire them for your next event at an affordable rate.

We are community and data driven
Every caregiver, facilitator and program associate is trained in our data-driven curriculum. Our goal is to empower parents with information they can use to ensure their children and their families are ready to address gaps and needs as they arise. Our curriculum, surveys and assessments utilize the Development areas within The Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) as the foundation of their experience. We build around five developmental areas that can be categorized as the following:

Fine Motor
Problem Solving
We assess, inform and empower parents to be their children’s first teacher. Then they can teach others.
We integrate these results with family pre and post surveys, then measure the success or the opportunity gaps we seek to explore. We track and adapt curriculum and resources based on family needs.
